Sabrang Radio 94.7 FM's Exclusive Interview With Aya Mansour (Biology Students' Association: University of Calgary)
Aya is a third year student, majoring in Cellular, Molecular & Microbial Biology (CMMB). As VP Events, Aya wants to introduce more networking and socializing events to strengthen the community within the Biological Sciences department. She also wants to expand opportunities available for students.
The KidsCancerCare Charity Foundation in collaboration with various clubs at the University of Calgary, including the Orphan Sponsorship Program, The Biology Student’s Association, the Red Cross Club and Heart and Stroke Foundation, as hosting their first KidsCancerCare Charity Gala, on April 7th, 2019.
The event will be held in the Red and White club, in McMahon stadium. What to expect? A 3 course buffet, Art Auction, Raffle Prizes, moving speeches, exciting performances and more!
All proceeds from the gala will go to support the Kids Cancer Care Charity, which is a local charity based on Calgary that supports children and families dealing with cancer, through the process of diagnosis, treatment and recovery. The charity offers financial help through the treatment, post-secondary scholarships for survivors, tutoring support, camps all year around, support for the parents and siblings and more.
